Biography
Emily Dunbar McCoy was born 5 Jan 1905 in Smethport, McKean County, PA. She was the daughter of Guy McCoy and Edna Dunbar. Emily was educated at the Westchester Normal School (college) and was a schoolteacher. [1]
She married Clarence Raymond Olmstead on 8 Dec 1926 in Hinsdale, Cattaraugus Co., NY. [2] She was the mother of twin daughters, Jean and Claire, who were born 24 Nov 1927. The family made their home in Hume, Allegany County, NY where Clarence was an Electrician. [3]
Clarence Olmstead died 28 Jun 1930 as the result of an auto accident. On 15 May 1931, she married, Russell Johnson.
Emily Johnson died on 5 Mar 1983 in Smethport, PA. She is buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, in Smethport, McKean County, PA. [4]
