Biography
Weldon R. McCoy, 95, of Cookport, died Sun., Dec. 16, 2001 at Beacon Ridge in Indiana. Born Sept. 7, 1905 in Green Township to Calvin W. & Zella (Decker) McCoy, he was a coal miner for CBC mines for 27 years. He also worked as a laborer for PennDOT & as maintenance supervisor at Purchase Line Schools before retiring. He married Heleh Hadden on Feb. 26, 1930. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana.[1]
