Biography

John was Born in 1933 Anderson County, he was a son of the late Joseph Iola McCoy. and Ila Hodgens McCoy. He was retired owner/operator of McCoy Motors and a former Magistrate for Anderson County. John was a member of Mountain Springs Baptist Church, the Piedmont Lions Club, and a lifetime member of the S.C. Summary Court Judges Association. He was also a member of Grove Station Masonic Lodge and a Shriner.
