William 'Bill' Edwards McCoy was born on 13 Jun 1915 in Alberta, Canada, son of Henry Daniel McCoy (1892 - 1951) and Alphonsine (Leclair) McCoy (1888 - 1978).

McCOY, William Edwards (Bill) On March 5, 1996, our beloved father, grand father, brother and friend passed away at the age of 80 years. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by Helen, his wife of 56 years; as well as his six loving children: Pat McCoy; Terry and wife, Pat, children, Hanay, Michael and Matthew; Dennis and wife, Dianne, children, Justin and Erin; Maureen and husband, Albert Peters, children, Shannon and Mark; Kelly McCoy Kathy and husband, Norman MacDonald, children, Connor, Douglas and Glenn. Bill will also be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters, Laura Laver, Ella (Art) Turner, Lawrence (Brownie) McCoy, Dinty (Betty) McCoy; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his sister, Ann Gribble and his brother, Bert McCoy. Prayers, Thursday, March 7 at 7:30 p.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with Sister Connie Piska officiating. Reverend Len Gartner and RightReverend AiDert u tsrien will concelebrate a Mass of the Resurrection Friday, March 8 at 10:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 18407 - 60 Avenue, Edmonton followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the wonderful staff at the St. Joseph's Auxiliary Hospital, Palliative Care Unit for taking such good care of Dad and Mom.
