Jesse WIlliam McCrary was born on July 31, 1926 in Ingham County, Michigan. He was the fifth son of Daniel Orlando McCrary and second son by his fourth wife Ella Bessie Williams.
Jessie, 19, was living with his stepfather, Lyle Fenner at 8538 Clark Rd. in Clarkston, Michigan when he registered for the draft in 1942.
He served as a Construction Mechanic 3rd Class (CM3) in the US Navy during World War II.
Jessie William McCrary and Marjorie May Twite were married on November 2, 1946 in Pontiac, Michigan.
Jessie passed away on August 6, 1985 in Los Angeles County, California. He was buried in section 20-A, 1613 in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California.
