Marcus de Lafayette McCraw was the son of Lindsey Lattimore McCraw and Marty Martha Sparrow. He was born 9 Sep 1874 and died 5 Aug 1962. He married Sarah Josephine "Josie" Cook, the daughter of John Alonzo Cook and Sarah Jane Pelt. Their children were:
