Biography

James was born about 1916. He was the son of James McCrummen. Jim served in the United States Army and fought in France and Germany under General George Patton. He was elected to the Jefferson Elementary School Board in Clovis and was one of the founding Trustee's for the Clovis Unified School District, when they unified. He also served on the Tarpey Water Work Board and served as president of the Tarpey Association. Jim had his state contractor license and was a Fresno County Building Inspector. He was a member of the Clovis Masonic Lodge, #417, the Scottish Rite, and the Shriners. "Jim loved his wife, his family, his friends, his community, and his country." He passed away in 2010.
