Alene Wilkey and John Wiley were the parents of two sons, both now deceased:
Carrol Dale Willey (21 December 1926 - 2 April 1955) and Robert Earl Willey (8 March 1930 - 23 March 2009). It appears George created three profiles for Carrol, so please merge them. Since, they are coded red, I can't sent a merge request, unless I'm on the trusted list. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
I have been compiling McCully/McCulley trees for many years. I have one from TN with a Kelly Ann McCULLEY in it, daughter of Howard and Cindy.
Happy to share if you are interested.

Thanks for your offer. I don't think my Tennessee namesake is one I can connect to my tree/direct lines, but I am very interested in the lines of Isaac McCullough (Augusta/Orange Co. VA settler, early-mid 1700s) and Joseph McCulley (Botetourt/Roanoke VA area, mid-1700s-early 1800s.) I suspect Isaac was possibly the grandfather of Joseph (my 5th g-grandfather). Joseph's son was also an Isaac, who moved to Caldwell, then to Hopkins Co. KY in the early 1800s, and was married to Rebecca (Becky) Scott (my 4th g-grandparents). Looking for documentation of my Isaac's parents'/grandparents' emigration & Irish/Scot origins. His father, Joseph was probably guardian to Becky Scott after her father Nathan died. Isaac's mother/Joseph's wife was said to be "Elizabeth" but I am NOT convinced that she was a Kingree/Kingry/Kingery, as is commonly accepted in nearly every family tree! Elizabeth Kingree may have been some relation, but she married a Joseph Culley after at least some of the children were born - and her father was Daniel - a name that appears nowhere in later generations, which I find odd. Any clues? Thanks!
You have many profiles which are coded privacy red, which should be coded black (living) or in other cases should be coded (some other color) or open. It appears most of these profiles were created by another contributor, so not sure how familiar you are with the specifics of each profile.
I have started sending you notes, first one is Brodt-3 (he's still living).
I looked at Brodt-3 and I am not a profile manager? Sent you a detailed message about the unfamiliar profiles that wikitree burdened me with... please don't comment on each one. Thanks!
Just a quick thank-you for all of the work that you've put into Poage genealogy. It looks like you have done more work on this kind of thing in less than a week than I've put in over the last year.
Please let me know when you reach a final conclusion in regard to whether we should merge Poage-120 with Poage-9. At least two descendants' merges are on hold for this. Thank you!
If you will change your setting your DNA will propagate on the tree so we can utilize it in the Franklin project. To do this simply login and go to your profile page and click the privacy tab at the upper right. The scoll down and select the option for private with public family tree (pale peach) and scroll down a bit more to click to save/submit the new selection. Then we will be able to work with your DNA testing via wikitree! YAY!
Thx!
Lisa
I see where you have uploaded your DNA for comparison. Did you know we have a project for DNA where a lot of great new things are happening? If you are interested and would like to check it out, go to the FIND link top right of your profile page, select PROJECTS from the drop down box, and then select the link for the DNA project. It has information listed that might be of interest to you, and feel free to contact any of the members if you would like additional details
I initiated a merge with John W Pleasant-31 with Pleasant-2 but disregard. On second look, I don't believe they are same person. Sorry for trouble. MG Pitts
I owe you more thanks for all of the edits that you've made to my relatives through the very large web of blood- and marriage-based ties of the Wilkies! You are a true genealogy angel...
Thank you ever so much for the many edits you've made in entries for people in my extended family tree. I do the best I can, but the collaborative nature of WikiTree makes it possible to add all the "leaves" and "flowers" that make that old family tree a truly living organism!

Do you have a family tree I could access? My GGgrandfather was John Henry Short Sr. b 1-27-1840.
