The remains of Mr. James W. McCullough, a farmer, seventy years old, brother of Mr. Lysander McCullough, one of the oldest and best-known citizens of the upper end of the county, were buried Sunday at Middletown, sixth district. Rev. Mr. Derr of the Lutheran Church officiated, and the interment was in Union Cemetery.
Mr. McCullough died Friday of peritonitis.
He left a widow, who, before her marriage, was a Mrs. Hampshire, and twelve children.
