Biography

Linvil was born on 14 May 1827 in Marion co. Ill. He was the son of James McDaniel and Susan (Fields) McDaniel.[1]

In the 1850 census Linvil (age 23) was living in District 11, Marion, Illinois.[1]

When Linvil was 29 he married Lucinda Jane Brasel on 5 November 1856 in Marion, Illinois, United States. The couple had 6 children: William McDaniel, Lourania McDaniel, @P1060@, Louisa McDaniel, @P1059@ and John L. McDaniel.[2]

In the 1860 census Linvil (age 33) was living in Township 1 S Range 3 E, Jefferson, Illinois, United States.[3]

On 3 July 1865 Linvil (age 38) was living in Township 1, Jefferson, Illinois, United States.[4]

In the 1870 census Linvil (age 43) was living in Township 1 Range 3, Jefferson, Illinois, United States.[5]

In the 1880 census Linvil (age 53) was living in Field, Jefferson, Illinois, United States.[6]
