Biography

Hezekiah McDaniel was born about 1785 in Maryland, United States, son of Thomas McDaniel (1756–1818) and Ann (Chattam) McDaniel (1758–1795).

Hezekiah (22) married Sophia (Fightmaster) McDaniel (27) (born in 1780 in Maryland) on 2 Oct 1808 in Harrison County, Kentucky.[1] Their known daughter was Nancy Jane (McDaniel) Jones (~1824–1914).

In 1830, Hezekiah was living in Eastern Division, Fleming County, Kentucky.[2]

In 1850, Hezekiah was living in Morgan County, Kentucky. [3]

In 1860, Hezekiah was living in Rowan County, Kentucky. [4]

Hezekiah died after 1860 in Kentucky, aged 74.[5]

Research Notes

  • Name Heskiah clearly written on widowed daughter Jane Jones' death certificate. No other source found. May be misspelled Hezekiah.
