Henry was born around 1866, though unsure of whether this was in Ireland or Australia. He was the son of Edward McDonagh and Mary Jane Stewart. He passed away in 1942 aged 76 years[1].

McDONAGH - September 16, 1942, at his daughter's residence, Belmore, Henry (Harry) McDonagh, late of Kyogle and Punchbowl, beloved husband of Helena, and loved father of Winifred (Mrs. E. T. Rossiter, Lakemba), Hilda (Mrs. R. Winsor, Belmore), and Arthur (deceased). God rest his soul.
McDONAGH - The Relatives and Friends of Mrs. HELENA McDONAGH and FAMILY are invited to attend the Funeral of her dearly loved HUSBAND and their loving FATHER and GRANDFATHER, Harry; to leave St Andrew's Church of England, Lakemba, THIS DAY, after Service at 10.30 a.m., for St. Saviour's Church of England Cemetery, Punchbowl.
