Married "Squire Thomas Peery Mar 26, 1818. They are buried in the Peery Cemetery, Tazewell Co, VA. They had following children: Maria Louisa (8/24/1819 -41/1853) married General Rees T Bowen 9/23/1835. Harriet Jane (9/23/1811 - 110/25/1868, married Augustua A Spotts 9/12/1838. William Edward (7/20/1825 - 8/18/1826) William Edward (Captain) (7/7/1829 - 3/15/1895) married Katherine Matilda Cecil 12/9/1851. Thomas Ritchie (11/12/1843 - 9/19/1864) Served in Confederate Army & was killed in Gen Early's fight at Winchester, VA.^[1]

Jane was born Feb 16, 1802, the daughter of Edward McDonald and Keziah Stephens.
