Biography

George was born December 18, 1888 in Hill County, Texas. [1][2] He was the son of George McDonald and Cornelia Jordan.

He registered for the WWI draft on June 5, 1917 in Dawson County, Texas. He states he was born on December 18, 1888 in Hubbard, Hill, Texas, he is married with five children and that he is a farmer. George is described as tall, slender, grey eyes with dark hair. [1]

On April 25, 1942 he registered for the WWII draft in Yuma County, Arizona. He lists he was born December 18, 1888 in Hill County, Texas, that he is married to Pearl and that he lives in Somerton, Yuma, Arizona. George is described as 6 feet tall, 195 lbs, gray eyes, brown hair with a ruddy complexion. [2]

He passed away May 10, 1949 in Yuma, Yuma, Arizona. [3]George was laid to rest in Yuma Pioneer Cemetery, Yuma, Yuma, Arizona, United States. [4]
