Lula (McDonald) Brissey was born in Appalachia, in West Virginia.

Lula died on 28 April 1935 in Tyler, West Virginia.[1] Lula and Luther were killed in an automobile accident. [3] She is buried in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Salem, Harrison County, West Virginia. [4]
