His discharge certificate was dated 22nd June 1863, the place of discharge was Preston and Aeneas age was given as 40 years and 3 months. His intended place of residence was given as Belfast.
When in the Army he served abroad for 9 years in China, Gibraltar and the Crimea [1]
Aeneas married Mary Kelley (Kelly) in St Patrick's RC Church, Newtownards on 18th August 1863 [2]
Aeneas (Enos) and Mary had 5 children, Elizabeth, Richard, Susana, Mary and Charles. The family lived in Mill Street, Newtownards.
Susana, Mary and Charles all died in infancy.
Enos died in Newtownards on 17th January 1901. His occupation was recorded as Army Pensioner [3]
Aeneas was buried in Movilla Cemetery, Newtownards.
