The abstraction of the Florida death record for Walter M. McDonald states that he was born 5 Aug 1856 in Morgan County, Alabama, son of J. R. McDonald and Sallie Orr Gibson. He died 23 Jul 1933 in Hopewell, Hillsborough County, Florida and was buried in Hopewell Cemetery.[1]

The findagrave page for W M McDonald has pictures of the tombstone which says: W. M. McDonald, Aug 5 1856, July 23 1933, A faithful minister of Christ, Saved by Grace., Pastor of Hopewell Baptist Church, 45 years. The memorial says that he was buried in Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery, Hopewell, Hillsborough County, Florida.[2]
