Biography

Alice was born in 1850. She was the daughter of George McDonald and Sarah Broughton. She passed away in 1946.

When Alice was 20 she married David Bastido Hendershot on 7 April 1869 in Norfolk, Ontario, Canada. The couple had 8 children: Annie Hendershot, Elizabeth Hendershot, Margaret Jessie Hendershot, Frederick Hendershot, Erie Hendershot, Melvin Roy Hendershot, Eva Hendershott and Earnest Hendershott.^[1][2]

In the 1881 census Alice (age 32) was living in Windham, Norfolk, Ontario, Canada. HH: David Hendershot 52, Alice June Hendershot 31, Gorge Anny Hendershot 10, Elgey Hendershot 8, Erie Hendershot 6, Roy Hendershot 3.^[3]
