Biography

Margaret Mary was born in 1908 in County Longford, Ireland.

On 8 September 1935, Margaret married Owen McMahon, son of James McMahon and Esther McArdle, in New York City. Margaret's parents names are given as James McDonnell and Mary McDonald. ^[1]

Margaret was naturalized as a U.S. citizen in 1940 in New York. Her husband's name and birth date are on this record. ^[2] Margaret is recorded as having entered the U.S. at New York on the SS Arabic on 6 May 1929 from Queenstown, Ireland.

The Naturalization Record also lists one son: James, born 17 December 1937 in New York, New York.

She passed away in 1996.
