Biography
Catherine was born about 1884. Her parents were Patrick and Julia Agnes (nee Hudson). [1]
In 1911 she married George Powell Prout. [2]
The couple had 3 children. The youngest, George died in 1922. Her husband George died aged 44 in 1927.
Catherine died in 1942 aged 58. [1] A Requiem Mass was held, indicating she was Catholic.
Relict of the late George, mother of Alice (Mrs. Francis), Eileen (Mrs. Axford), Mary and Patrick.[3]
Research Note It is quite likely that Catherine was of Irish Descent.
