Biography

John Peter McDougall was a Canadian First Peoples and member of the Métis Nation.

John Peter (Jean-Pierre) McDougall born at the North-Western Territory on John George McDougall and Genevieve Gaspard on 15 Sep 1861.

John Peter married Elise Delorme (daughter of Joseph Delorme and Brigitte Villebrun dit Plouf) at St. Norbert, Manitoba on 10 Sep 1872.

He passed away at St. Boniface, Manitoba on 9 Jun 1925. John Peter was survived by his wife, six sons and and daughter.

Interment took place at the St. François Xavier Cemetery.
