Birth
Viola was born 31 Mar 1895 at Crains Island, Illinois.[1] [2] Viola's sister, Mary, is said to have been born five days later. This would make them twins with a delayed birth. It is not clear if this is accurate, or the result of a date error in Hattie's list of family members and their dates.
