- Thomas W. McDowell, 73, of 2200 NE. 88th St., a retired stationary engineer, died Wednesday after a long illness. Born in Negaunee, Mich., he came to Seattle in 1962 from Spokane. He had worked for Western Hotel there and for St. Luke's Hospital. He and his wife, Dollie celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on December 26, 1966.
- Other survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Ivan Brewington, Medford, Ore.; Mrs. Glen Morris, Bothell; Mrs. Paul Paige, Cazenovia, N.Y.; Mrs. William O'Marra, Rochester, N.Y. and Mary McDowell, Seattle; and six sons, James McDowell of Kerns, Utah; Edward McDowell of Pomeroy, Garfield County; Earl McDowell, Washington, D.C.; Dr. Charles McDowell, Cleveland, Ohio; and Gordon McDowell, Seattle.
