Myrtle was born in 1916. She was the daughter of Fredrick McElhoe and Bessie Carter. She passed away in 2005.
Born in Tiger Fork, MO, the daughter of Fred and Bessie Carter McElhoe. On May 15, 1934, she was united in marriage to Marvin Lawrence Stevens. He proceeded her in death on September 17, 1966.
Myrtle is survived by one daughter, Marilyn Joyce (Stevens) Anderson of Shelbina, MO; one son, Norman Larry Stevens and his wife Phylis of Clarence, MO; five grandchildren: Letrisha Martin and Deana Bentley both of Clarence, MO; Cheryl Richardson of Palmyra, MO; Krista Stevens of Ozark, MO; and Cindi Blaine of Epworth, MO; ten great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and one sister, Pauline Kleckner of Quincy, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers (Earl McElhoe, Hubert McElhoe, Estel McElhoe, Cecil McElhoe, and Henry McElhoe) and three sisters (Mable Copeland, Ivy Scott, and Effie Hillard).
