Note: Sailed to Canada from the port of Kirkintillock near Glascow Scotland. Joseph bought two farms in Osnabruck. On one farm is the present day Pleasant Valley Cemetary. This is located in the south east corner of lot 26. Joseph bought this land in 1873. The other farm was the north half of same on lots 25 and 26 in the 5th concession of Osnabruck.
