Andrew was born in 1781 in Ireland, possibly Derry. He married Catherine, born the same year, also in Ireland. The 1851 census notes they came to New Brunswick in 1833. Religion Anglican. They settled in Harvey Parish, Albert County, New Brunswick.[1]
They had the following children:[2]
Andrew died after 1851, likely in Alma. One source suggests the year was 1856.[3]
Parents are uncertain. Similarity of names would suggest a familial connection at the very least.
There is a big gap in the Census from 1820 to 1851 because of New Brunswick fire. As such, the children of Andrew can not be guaranteed. For example, Emily was not born by 1820 but was already married by 1851. There is no primary documentation that she belongs to this family. However, it is the most likely situation. FS has a son King but not the daughter Jane.
Ancestry goes back many generations here: http://www.clanmacfarlanegenealogy.info/genealogy/TNGWebsite/getperson.php?personID=I104662&tree=CC, but is the same family?
