Biography

He was born on 2 March 1906, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Charles Edward McFadden and Mabel Sarah Bonsall. ^[1]

In 1910, he was living with his parents, sister, and grandmother, on a farm in Middletown Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. ^[2]

In 1920, he was living with his parents, sister, and grandmother, in Collingdale Borough, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. He was attending school. ^[3]

In 1930, he was living with his parents at 44 State Road, Upper Darby, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. He was an electrician, for General Electric, and was actually at work the last working day before the census. ^[4]

On 29 June 1930, Charles E. McFadden Jr and Irma R. MacColl were married, by Jules L. Prevost, at Valley Forge, Pennsylvania (which could perhaps have been in either Chester or Montgomery County). She was a stenographer, living at 6547 Belmar Terrace. He was a foreman, living at 44 State Road, Upper Darby, Pennsylvania. ^[5] They had three children. ^[6]

In 1940, Erma [sic], and Charles were living at 360 Fairfax Avenue, Upper Darby, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, with their daughter. They owned it, and it was worth $5,300. Charles was an electrical engineer, worked 44 hours the week of 24 March, and earned $2,700 in 52 weeks in 1939. Erma was engaged in housework, and earned $0 in 0 weeks work in 1939. ^[7]

Ruby died on 28 June 1973, in Delaware, Pike County, Pennsylvania. She was living at 358 Lombardy Road, Drexel Hill. On 2 July 1973, she was buried in Arlington Cemetery, Upper Darby, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. ^{[8] [9]}

Eddie died on 28 March 1980. He was buried in Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. ^{[10] [11]}
