Leanora was born about 1808. She was the daughter of Robert McFadden and Leanora Lenoir. She first married Thomas Samuel McClary on 16 May 1825. [1] They had two sons, Robert and Samuel. After Thomas' passing on 7 Sep 1831, she married Major Lemuel Bunn "Lamb" Davis. Together they had at least six more children: Francis Eudora, Margaret C. Elizabeth, Abbie Marie, Henry Arthur,, Wentworth M., Leonora McFaddin. In the 1840 census, [2] which is a tally-style census, L B Davis is shown living with 5 boys 10-15 years old, and one male between 60-70 (possibly his father), 3 girls under 5 years old, and one teenage girl.
Leanora passed away about 1852 and is buried next to her husband "L B" Davis in Pachitla Cemetery, Morgan, Calhoun County, Georgia. [3]
