Eleanor McFadden was born about 1800. Eleanor married Jacob Whisner before 1822. He died in 1842. She then married John Reed on January 16, 1855 at the First Presbyterian Church in Clarion, Pennsylvania.[1] Eleanor died about 1888, possibly in Helen Furnace, Clarion, Pennsylvania.
1850 US Census: Ellen Whisner lived in Paint, Clarion, Pennsylvania with 2 children Sarah and Amos. [2]
1880 US Census: In the 1880 Census, Eleanor is living with her son Eliaphus Whisner.[3]
On the death certificate of Isaac Whisner, his parents are listed as Jacob Whisner and Eleanor McFadden.[4]
