Alma (Albert Co.) - Andrew McFARLAND, age 80 years passed away on the 13th inst. after a very short illness. About sixty years ago the deceased came to this country from the north of Ireland. He was among the pioneer settlers of this parish and was always ready to discuss and compare the present with the good old days of the past. Mr. McFarland was married twice and leaves a wife, two sons and a daughter.

Alma (Albert Co.) - Andrew McFARLAND died here Dec. 13, aged 79, having been born Tuesday, June 20, 1815, two days after the battle of Waterloo when Wellington and Blucher defeated Bonaparte. He came to this country from Ireland 60 years ago. The funeral took place Dec. 16.
