John was born in about 1778 in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of William Walter McFarland and Elizabeth Jack.[1]
John died at the age of about 51 on 19 August 1829 in Indiana County, Pennsylvania.[1]
John was buried after 19 August 1829 in Ebenezer Cemetery, Lewisville, Pennsylvania.[1][2]
