Biography

Miranda was born on 20 July 1848 in Medina County, Ohio, USA. She was the daughter of Wilson McFarland and Azuba (Stevens) McFarlin.[1]

Miranda married Francis Marion (Frank) Thomas on 19 March 1868 in Tazewell, IL. The couple had 8 children: Edwin Howard Thomas, Alfred Thomas, Charles Oscar Thomas, Willard Thomas, Mack Matthew Thomas, Inez Frances Thomas, Jessie May Thomas and Irene R Thomas.[2][3][4]

In 1880 Miranda was living in Brooks, Adams, Iowa.[5]

In 1900 Miranda was living in Jasper Township, Adams, Iowa.[6]

In 1910 Miranda was living in Jasper, Adams, Iowa.[7]

In 1915 Miranda was living in Jasper.[8]

Miranda died at the age of 69 on 9 July 1918 in Brooks, Iowa.[9] She was buried on 12 July 1918 in Prairie Rose Cemetary.
