Biography

Hannah was born on 19 August 1875 at Barrack Hill Armagh. Her parents were Robert McFarland (a printer) and Hannah Nelson.

On 23 Apr 1900 in the 1st Presbyterian Church she married Charles Barnes of Belfast and moved there.

She had 3 children (Charlie, Mabel and Lily) before dying on 13 Feb 1909 of phthisis pulmonalis from which she had suffered for 10 months,
