Biography

Katherine was born in 1913 in Mississippi. She was the daughter of Nathan McFarland and Ivory McFarland. ^[1] Katherine married Walter Louis Walton. She passed away in 2010 in Minnesota.^{[2] [3]}

Research Notes

Katherine's surname at the time of her death appears to have been Steen. Steen was the surname of her husband Walter L. Walton's elder half-brothers, and her husband may have been born a Steen. Unclear whether she uses the name because of her known husband or because of a subsequent marriage.
