First marriage to George Jervois 10 Dec 1885 JERVOIS-McFARLANE.— On the 3rd December, at Christ Church, Strathalbyn, by the Rev. W. J. Bussell, George Arthur Jervois, youngest son of Major-General Jervois, of Bath, England, to Susanna Hector, eldest daughter of Allan McFarlane, Esq., of Wellington Lodge, Wellington.^[1]

Formal name change from Jervois to Draysey: 19 June 1928 WE FREDERICK WILLIAM DRAYSEY and SUSANNA HECTOR DRAYSEY both now residing at Albury in the State of New South Wales but formerly of Wirrawa, Thorngate Street, Prospect, in the State of South Australia heretofore called and known by the names of Frederick William Jervois-Draysey and Susanna Hector Jervois-Draysey HEREBY GIVE PUBLIC NOTICE that by Deed Poll bearing date the day of the date hereof we absolutely renounced and abandoned the use of the surname "Jervois" and then determined thenceforth on all occasions on all records deeds documents and other writings and in all actions suits and proceedings as well as in all dealings and transactions matters and things whatsoever and upon all occasions to use and subscribe the surname "Draysey" as our surname instead of the surnames of "Jervois-Draysey."
