"Glenn Otis "Fibber" McGee, 92, of Coshocton joined his beloved wife and daughter at the Autumn Extended Care Facility at 6:30 P.M., Saturday, July 13, 2013.
Born October 17, 1920 in Trinway, he was the son of the late John and Elsie (Clark) McGee.
Glenn completed two years of electrical wiring training from the Conesville Vocational School. His first employment was with the Pennsylvania Railford in Hanover, OH where he performed various tasks. He gaged distances between tracks and helped install switches and crossovers.
From July 8, 1942 to October 29, 1945 he served in the U. S. Army with overseas duty in Iran.
After his military service he was employed at the former General Electric plant as a maintenance man. Following retirement he repaired washers and dryers for the local laundromat.
Glenn was a genius for repairing and fixing broken items. He had a natural ability in the world of mechanics.
On November 6, 1945 he married Betty Jean King who preceded him death August 7, 2007.
To this union a daughter Marla K. McGee was born who also preceded him in death on October 25, 2010."[1] Burial was in South Lawn Cemetery, Coshocton.
