NOTE: His death certificate and obituary state he was buried in Rose Hill Cemetery and there is a Find-A-Grave entry for him in Rose Hill Cemetery; he has a tombstone in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Maybe his remains were moved to Riverview at some point after burial at Rose Hill?
His Obituary:
Daniel A. McGee, 90, died at his home near Minosa Saturday afternoon, March 6, at 4:45 o'clock, following a two weeks' illness. He was a farmer and a life-long resident of Lincoln County.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Raby Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Vernon Rozar, assisted by Elder R. A. Largen. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mattie Gill McGee; four daughters, Mrs. W. W. Gill of Bedford County, Miss Altie McGee, Mrs. Rollie Bearden, and Mrs. Lewis Lane, all of Lincoln County; two sons, Albert McGee and William McGee of Lincoln County; 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
