Biography

Erma Olive McGee,

Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence McGee was born in Owen County, Spencer, Indiana, November 9, 1904. She departed this life to her reward in heaven April 18, 1920, from her home in Indianapolis, aged 15 years, 5 months, and 9 days.

She had been ill about a month and during the last few days of her sickness she endured great suffering and was so patient through it all.

She lived practically all her life in Spencer but of recent years in Indianapolis.

She attended the public school in Spencer and continued her work in school in Indianapolis. She was in second year of high school.

She made many friends where ever she went because of her sweet lovable disposition. She had a smile for everybody and to know her was to love her.

Two years ago Easter she confessed her faith in Jesus Christ and united with the Christina Church in Spencer. She was always ever faithful to her Master in attendance at the Bible School, Church, and Service for him.

She leaves a loving mother, a devoted father, three sisters, Barbara, Lucille, and Vesta, besides other relatives and a host of friends and what has been our great loss is heavens gain.

Those present from out of town were: Mr. and Mrs. Wm. J. Evans of Sheldon, ILL.. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Barnhill and sons James and John of Bloomington, Mrs. Robert Barnhill of Cincinnati Ohio, Russell Evans of Indianapolis, Mr. Chas. McGee and family of Indianapolis, and Mr. and Mrs. William Curry of Bloomington.
