Biography

Nancy was the daughter of Samuel McGee and Rebecca Pinkham,[1] born 11 January 1786.[2]

Nancy McGee, born in Dorcester County, Maryland, married Robert Walker, who was born in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina in 1779. They married sometime after 24 July 1804 in Randolph County, North Carolina. Their daughter, Rebecca Walker, was born in North Carolina on 18 September 1814.[3]

Both Nancy and Robert died in Randolph County: Robert Walker died 14 October 1850; Nancy died 17 July 1880.[3] At the time of her death, Nancy was "in her 95th year, a member of the Presbyterian Church for about 80 years, [having] attended the first camp meeting held in the State."[4]

McGee-2843 and McGee-935 appear to represent the same person because: Hi! I added a source for McGee-2843 during the Source-a-Thon & developed the profile after the Source-a-Thon. One of my last steps is looking for profiles of her children - found Sophia & with her, duplicates of Nancy & Robert. Please merge. Thanks!
