Biography
Benjamin was the son of Thomas Baytop Scott McGehee and Laura Mary Childress.
He married Sarah Ann VanHoos Noble on 4 June 1850 in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. [1]

They had moved to Arkansas by 1860 and are found in 1860 Chicot County, Arkansas census. [2]
He married second to Mary Fannie Halley about 1878.
