Biography

When Eliza Jane Nu Cha McGhee was born in 1847 in Prairie, Oklahoma, her father, Ambrose, was 34, and her mother, Judith, was 29. She married George Washington Fields on December 26, 1869. They had eight children in 20 years. She died on April 21, 1899, at the age of 52, and was buried in Grove, Oklahoma.
