Daniel was born in 1875. He was the son of Daniel McGill and Harriett McLauchlin. In 1880, the family was living in Bainbridge, Decatur County, Georgia.[1]
By 1900, he was head of household living in Decatur in Dekalb County, Georgia, with his sisters, Elizabeth McGill McKown and her son, Willis, and Lillian McGill.[2]
He passed away in 1905. Burial was in the Oak City Cemetery in Bainbridge, Decatur County, Georgia.[3]
