Over a period of 26 years Minnie and John had 6 children. Sadly Minnie May would outlive her eldest, Mary Ann Glynn. She also didn't live to see her youngest, Grenfell "Harry" Glynn, grow up into a fine young man who served and sadly died for his country,
Minnie May passed away 6th October 1898, in Grenfell, NSW, Australia. She was suffering from Toxemia and Influenza. Minnie May was 48 at the time of her death.

MRS. GLYNN, widow of the late Mr. John Glynn, died on Thursday. Deceased, who was in greatly reduced circumstances, is stated to have suffered much privation.
Minnie May was buried three days later at the General Cemetery, Grenfell, NSW, Australia.
