The 1860 Census[2] shows her at age 34 with six children in the household of her parents in Cabell County, Virginia. Her husband is not present, and even though marital status is not specified on this census, it appears that she is a widow.
The 1870 Census[3] shows her at age 44 with three children in Guyandotte, Cabell County, West Virginia.

She died in 1889, [4] and is buried at the Spring Hill Cemetery in Huntington, Cabell County, West Virginia.[5]
