Her husband was Constable John, who predeceased her about 40 years ago. Her parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. M'Glynn, of Tumbarumba, and she was the last of a family of nine. Her two sons, Walter (Bob) and George, with whom she resided, survive her. She was an ardent member of the Roman Catholic Church and a member of the Catholic Women's Social Guild. She was born at Jingelliec76 years ago, and had resided in the Tumbarumba, Adelong and Tumut districts, where she conducted businesses, and for 20 years she had assisted her sons at the Hotel Walwa.

This incident occurred at Wantabadgery 56 years ago.
