Biography
Samuel was born in 1858, the son of Samuel Walker McGowan (1829-1887) and Annie Benson (1831-1901). No birth record has been located [2021].
In 1889 he married Elizabeth Jane Crichton (1869-1956). [1]
They had at least 1 child.
Samuel passed away in 1905, aged 47. [2]
