Biography
When Jeanie Blair (Jane) McGowan was born on March 15, 1881, in Greenock, Renfrewshire, her father, Daniel, was 21 and her mother, Isabella, was 20. She married Alexander Paul on July 6, 1899, in Greenock, Renfrewshire. They had eight children in 24 years. She died on December 17, 1939, in Greenock West, Renfrewshire, at the age of 58.
