Margaret Smith was the daughter of Alexander and Mary McGraw and has lived in Mars Hill since she was 1 yr. old. She died at her residence on the West Ridge Rd. from a malignant disease. She was married to E.O. Smith 36 yrs. ago. They had 7 children, Fred, Clarence, Harold, Montford, Alfred, Ivan and Pearl. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Mrs. George Rice of Somerville, MA., and Mrs. Florena Clark of Westfield, 2 brothers, George of Caribou and John of Surry. Burial Pierce cemetery.
