Biography

Amanda was born in 1869. She passed away in 1947.

This is my grand-uncle Elvin's grandmother. He told me about her and we visited the house in the picture, in 1999. No one had lived there in years. I'll load the pictures I took.

Amanda (McGregor) McGee was a Tennessean.

Ancestry matches cannot be used for triangulation. See these instructions for the explanation: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Triangulation#AncestryDNA_Triangulation

I’ve changed the ‘confirmed with DNA’ entries to ‘confident’.

Hi:

A couple of things -

1.) All of these matches are in fact DNA confirmed since both of my parents and I have taken DNA tests, and yes, I am their biological/DNA child.

The fact that Wikitree won't allow me to post DNA connections because my mother is alive and chooses to not join WT does NOT change the fact that all of her ancestors are in fact DNA confirmed.

2.) ALL of these ancestors have been proved through records as well.

3.) You should be able to tell that I marked these DNA confirmed BEFORE Wikitree changed its rules that FORCED living people to become members. The DNA confirmed people don't magically become unconfirmed just because the rules changed at a later date.

Thanks.
