Biography
When Asa McGregor was born on April 14, 1818, in Friendsville, Illinois, his father, John, was 31 and his mother, Catharine (Hinton), was 26. He married Mary Jane Ulm in 1841. He died on April 23, 1857, in Mount Carmel, Illinois, at the age of 39, and was buried there.
